How Holistic Business Network Helps Wellness Brand Owners Find the “Right Room”
The Room You Choose Can Change the Business You Build
Most wellness practitioners do not struggle because they lack passion, talent, or a real desire to help people.
They struggle because they are often trying to grow in rooms that were never meant for them.
They show up to networking events where no one understands holistic health. They explain their work to audiences that are curious, but not ready. They spend years refining their message, posting content, taking calls, and attending events, only to feel like their effort is not turning into the kind of growth they know is possible.
That realization became the seed for Holistic Business Network, an international community designed to help wellness brand owners find the right rooms faster. Through vetted referrals, visibility opportunities, education, events, and a community of like-minded practitioners, HBN helps holistic professionals stop growing in isolation and start building around people who understand the work.
Because in the wellness industry, the right room does more than open doors.
It changes what becomes possible.
Michelle Fletcher Built the Room She Once Needed

Holistic Business Network did not begin as a polished business model.
It began as a response to a real gap Michelle Fletcher had lived through herself.
After years of trying to grow her work in spaces that were not fully aligned, Michelle understood that many wellness practitioners were facing the same problem. They were talented. They were committed. They cared deeply about helping people. But they were often surrounded by audiences who did not understand the value of holistic health, or by business environments that were not designed for the way heart-led practitioners actually build trust.
So she started creating a different kind of room.
In 2021, during the pandemic, Michelle organized what began as a passion project: a multi-modality health event that brought together practitioners from different areas of wellness. It was not created to be a national network at first. It was created to give people access to trusted healers, educators, and resources at a time when many were searching for deeper support.
But something happened after the event.
People did not just attend and leave.
They started asking Michelle for referrals.
They wanted to know which practitioners they could trust. They wanted access to the people she had brought into the room. They were not looking for random names from the internet. They were looking for aligned professionals who had already been seen, heard, and vetted through a trusted community.
That response revealed the real opportunity.
The wellness industry did not need another loose directory filled with names. It needed a trusted ecosystem where practitioners could be discovered, supported, and connected to the right people.
That became the foundation of Holistic Business Network.
Today, HBN serves as a national and international network for vetted wellness practitioners and the professionals who support them, including business owners, service providers, and community leaders who understand the holistic health space. Its value is not simply that it gives members more exposure. Its value is that it helps them gain exposure in rooms where their message belongs.
Why Michelle Fletcher Built a Room Wellness Founders Could Trust
Building Holistic Business Network was not simply about creating another place for wellness professionals to meet.
It came from something Michelle Fletcher had learned the hard way.
For years, she had been working with intensity, showing up consistently, and doing everything she believed she was supposed to do to grow. But eventually, she realized that effort alone was not the issue. The bigger problem was where that effort was going.
“I was doing all this work, and I was not in the right rooms with my right audience,” Michelle recalled.
That realization changed the way she saw business growth in the holistic health space.
Many practitioners are deeply skilled at what they do, but they are often surrounded by people who do not fully understand their work. They spend time explaining the value of holistic health instead of connecting with people who are already aligned with it. They attend events, post online, and share their services, but the momentum feels slow because the environment is not built for them.
Michelle also saw another pattern.
“A lot of times as entrepreneurs, we’re working in silos,” she explained.
That isolation can become expensive. Not always financially at first, but emotionally and energetically. Wellness founders may have the certifications, the lived experience, and the heart to serve, but without the right community, visibility, and business systems, they can spend years trying to figure out what could have been accelerated with the right support.
This is where the mission of Holistic Business Network began to sharpen.

Michelle wanted to create a space where wellness professionals could stop guessing where they belonged and start building in rooms designed for their growth. That meant creating a vetted network filled with practitioners, collaborators, educators, and supporting professionals who understood the deeper purpose behind holistic work.
“I want to help people get to where they’re trying to go even faster,” Michelle shared.
But building that kind of room also required teaching wellness founders something many of them were never taught.
Visibility matters.
Follow-up matters.
Storytelling matters.
And showing up consistently matters, even when self-promotion feels uncomfortable.
"If you want to serve more people, you have to show up,” Michelle emphasized.
For many heart-led practitioners, this is one of the hardest lessons. They do not want to sound salesy. They do not want to push. They often believe that if their work is meaningful enough, people will naturally find them.
But Michelle knows that growth requires more than good intentions.
It requires a connection.
And the connection often begins with a story.
“People want to know why you decided to do what you’re doing,” she said.
That is why Holistic Business Network is not only about referrals or exposure. It is about helping wellness professionals communicate from a place that feels real. Michelle encourages practitioners to share the personal transformation behind their work because those stories create the kind of trust that a service description never can.
“When they can hear the heart behind it, that’s where the magic happens,” Michelle explained.
Launching and growing the community during the pandemic made this work even more layered. Many people were hesitant to gather, collaborate, or rebuild professional relationships in person. The wellness space needed connection, but people were still learning how to trust rooms again.
Michelle kept building anyway.
A Trusted Space for Wellness Professionals

She built the environment she wished she had found sooner.
After spending nine years working her way to the top two percent of her network marketing business, Michelle understood what it meant to work hard without always working in the most aligned direction. She had put in the effort, followed the process, and stayed consistent long enough to achieve what many would consider success.
If the audience is not aligned, the work becomes heavier than it needs to be. If the people around you do not understand the value of holistic health, you spend more energy explaining than connecting. If there is no real community around you, entrepreneurship can quickly become lonely, even when you are constantly showing up.
That awareness became the foundation for Holistic Business Network.
Instead of waiting for the perfect moment, Michelle launched her first in-person event in 2021, during a time when many people were still hesitant to gather. The world was still navigating fear, uncertainty, and isolation, but Michelle saw something else happening in the wellness space. People needed trusted practitioners. Practitioners needed visibility. And the community needed a place where different healing modalities could be experienced together.
“I started to see that there were people out there so fearful... and I was just like, hold on. I've been doing all these health talks and helping people get healthier.” Michelle recalled.
That first event gave health and wellness professionals something many of them had been missing: a stage, an audience, and a chance to be seen in the context of a larger trusted community. It was not simply about putting vendors in a room. It was about curating an experience where people could understand the depth and range of holistic support available to them.
As the response grew, Michelle began to see that the need extended far beyond one event.
People started asking for referrals. They wanted to know who they could trust. They wanted access to the practitioners, resources, and aligned businesses Michelle had brought together. That demand revealed the deeper opportunity behind Holistic Business Network.
The wellness space did not need another loose directory.
It needed a vetted ecosystem.
Michelle expanded the community into a network where practitioners could connect, collaborate, and gain visibility in ways that felt aligned with their purpose. She introduced monthly virtual meetups, live platforms, educational workshops, strategic partnerships, and in-person opportunities that helped members move out of isolation and into rooms that were built for genuine connection.
“I'm in the background, making tons of connections, connecting them to the right rooms, creating rooms, all the ways that they can help just level up their visibility.” Michelle explained.
That sentence captures much of what makes HBN different.
Michelle is not simply hosting events. She is actively building pathways. She is making introductions, creating visibility platforms, and helping wellness founders understand that growth often happens through the right connection at the right time.

Her background also gave her a unique advantage.
Before HBN, Michelle had experience in corporate IT and network marketing, which gave her a practical understanding of systems, follow-up, and relationship building. Those skills became especially valuable inside a community of heart-led practitioners who were often deeply skilled in healing but less confident in business strategy.
She saw where many wellness founders were getting stuck.
They were passionate, but inconsistent with follow-up. They had powerful stories, but they were not always sharing them clearly. They wanted to serve more people, but self-promotion often felt uncomfortable. Michelle began helping them understand that visibility is not vanity when it is rooted in service.
One of the biggest lessons she teaches is that business growth rarely happens in the first conversation.
“The magic happens in the follow up. Most people do not purchase as soon as they meet you. They need to learn and get to know you and trust you.” Michelle shared.
Michelle focused on creating an environment where practitioners could be seen, where referrals could be made with confidence, and where people were not simply networking for the sake of collecting contacts. They were entering rooms intentionally shaped around alignment.
Because for Michelle, the goal has never been to be in every room.
It has been to help wellness professionals find the ones that actually matter.
“You really need to be in the right ones in order to create like some magic,” Michelle said.
That belief became the backbone of Holistic Business Network, and it continues to guide the way Michelle builds rooms where wellness founders can connect and grow.
The 3 Pillars Behind Holistic Business Network
At the core of Holistic Business Network, Michelle Fletcher built a structure that gives wellness professionals more than a place to introduce themselves. HBN gives them a way to be seen, supported, and equipped to grow with intention.
1. Visibility
Michelle believes visibility only works when it puts practitioners in front of aligned people. Through live interviews, digital features, monthly meetups, speaking opportunities, and larger events like Week of Wellness, HBN gives members real platforms to build credibility.
“When you're in the front of the room speaking, it really helps to elevate your level of credibility and really puts you at top of mind for people that were in the room,” Michelle explained.
2. Community
HBN also creates space for wellness professionals to connect beyond geography. Its monthly Zoom meetup, held every second Thursday, brings together members and guests from across the country and beyond.
For Michelle, this connection is essential because many practitioners are used to building alone.
“People are stronger together. I know that when you're in the right rooms, you create magic and opportunities present themselves,” she shared.
3. Education
Michelle also knows that passion does not replace business structure. Through workshops on emotional intelligence, sales systems, storytelling, and follow-up, HBN helps wellness founders build the skills that support sustainable growth.
Her philosophy is clear: people need to hear the story behind the work.
“You need to think back to when you first learned of what you're currently doing and how it transformed your life. That's what you need to be sharing. When they can hear the heart behind it, that's where the magic happens,” Michelle said.
And once the first connection is made, follow-up becomes the next essential step.
“The magic happens in the follow up. If you're not going to collect someone's information, if you're not going to follow up, why even bother?” Michelle added.
Together, these three pillars make HBN a trusted space where wellness professionals can gain visibility, build real relationships, and learn the business skills that help their work reach more people.
